| Hospital Visitors |
|
Visitors are important to a patient�s recovery. Considerations must include adequate time for physician visitation, delivery of care, rest and privacy of the patient, noise control and hospital security. We encourage short visits so that you will have sufficient time to rest. The number of visitors is limited to two at any one time. Visitors under the age of 12 are not permitted with the exception of healthy siblings in Perinatal. Please consider your roommate�s privacy and need for rest when sharing a room. Special visiting time may be arranged, if necessary, through the nurse in charge of the unit or the nursing supervisor. Please notify your nurse if you do not wish to see visitors. Visitors should not use patient rest rooms. Public rest rooms are located throughout the hospital. General Visiting Hours: 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. Perinatal Visiting Hours: 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. (at the discretion of nurse) CCU Visiting Hours: May be changed in consideration of your needs, your roommate�s needs and at the discretion of your nurse. Gift Shop Located in the main lobby, the Gift Shop offers a variety of cards, flowers, toys, candy, toiletries and gift items. The Feather River Hospital Auxiliary operates the Gift Shop. Proceeds are used to purchase patient care equipment for the hospital. Gift Shop hours are 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Cafeteria Visitors are welcome to use the hospital Cafeteria. There may be some delay when hospital employees, volunteers and physicians are going through the tray line during peak meal service hours. Located in the main hospital, our Cafeteria is open: Breakfast: 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Lunch: 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Dinner: 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Weekends: Lunch: 12:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Dinner: 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Vending machines with a variety of food items are located in the hospital cafeteria�s dining area; the vending machines operate 24 hours a day.
