About Feather River Hospital
Opened in 1950 by a group of concerned citizens and physicians, Feather River Hospital provides individuals on the Paradise Ridge and in surrounding communities with a mission-focused acute-care hospital dedicated to delivery of quality healthcare. Specialty programs developed to meet the needs of our community include the Outpatient Center, Feather River Hospital Home Health Agency, and Paradise Hospice as well as Feather River Rehabilitation (which offers Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapies). Our maternity facility, The Birth Day Place at Feather River Hospital, provides women with a state-of-the-art birthing unit featuring single room maternity for mother and baby. Dedicated to the concept of Family Centered Maternity, this facility has been serving our community since 1994. Feather River Hospital's medical staff members offer a wide variety of primary and specialty care services. With nearly 130 members on our active medical staff, and over 850 employees, we are dedicated to participating as partners in our community, working toward common goals. In forming community coalitions such as the Paradise Ridge Community Network, we are committed to a goal of a healthier community. Feather River Hospital has a total of 122 beds, including 21 Skilled Nursing Facility beds. As a member of Adventist Health, we are part of a healthcare system including hospitals and physician groups working together to provide efficient, quality care to meet the demands of California's managed care environment. Feather River Hospital holds teaching affiliations with Butte Community College, Yuba Community College, Loma Linda University, Andrews University and California State University, Chico. |
