Our Lifeline system permits independent living for stroke or heart attack patients, the elderly or those with disabilities. Area residents on the Lifeline program need only touch a button to communicate instantly with trained Lifeline central staff. A small transmitter is attached to the home telephone, which sends signals to Lifeline via telephone lines. In the event of an emergency, simply push the help button (worn as a necklace or on a wristband) and Lifeline automatically signals Lifeline Central staff that assistance is needed; help is sent promptly to your home.
Lifeline is supported and managed through the Feather River Hospital Auxiliary. With the Auxiliarys support, monthly cost for individual subscription to Lifeline is quite low. For information on becoming a Lifeline subscriber call (530) 876-2145.
