Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteering expands your horizons--offering you new activities and friendships in a caring environment. Moreover, by sharing your time, enthusiasm and special talents, you will help Paradise Hospice provide services to local families. Join with other ridge residents who help Paradise Hospice help others! We have volunteer opportunities to appeal to everyone. Even if you are very busy or frequently on the go, we can accommodate your volunteer schedule to ours. Look at the volunteer opportunities listed here. Chances are, at least one of them is �right up your alley!� Call us today�we will get right back to you with information on expanding your horizons with an organization that really makes a difference in our community. Patient Care Provide practical assistance and emotional support for Hospice patients and their families. Hospice Thrift Shop Raise funds for Hospice by working in our retail shop, or by picking up or delivering merchandise. Office & Clerical Assistance Perform secretarial or reception duties at the Hospice Office. Bereavement Support Offer emotional support as a �Caring Caller� for the bereaved; assist at social activities. Medical Transportation Provide rides to medical appointments for those with no other means of transportation. Mailings Help with various mailings throughout the year. Meals on Wheels Help load nutritious meals at Feather River Hospital, or help deliver to ridge residents in their homes. Public Relations Represent Hospice at special events, help educate the public about Hospice and distribute flyers publicizing Hospice activities.
