Radiation therapy uses high-energy x-rays to kill cancer cells and shrink tumors. Our radiation oncology team utilizes CT and MRI scanners along with a three-dimensional treatment planning system to develop a radiation treatment protocol tailored specifically to each patient. The Cancer Center uses the most advanced linear accelerator technology to conform the treatment to the specific area of interest.
