As an Adventist healthcare facility established over fifty years ago by a group of physicians, we have a history of a warm and caring family-like atmosphere.

Through highly trained personnel and the latest in technology, Feather River Hospital received the highest rating in Butte County from our patients. In addition to our highly rated patient satisfaction survey, we scored an exceptional score of 97 on our recent JCAHO survey.

Though we are proud of our accomplishments, we do not shy away from change and continued efforts to improve upon our delivery of care to meet the needs of our community.

Paradise is everything its name implies in that residents live among the beautiful trees and mountains of Northern California while feeling safe in a rural community. With weather agreeable to outdoor recreation, residents can enjoy golf courses, as well as fishing and boating on Paradise Lake and Lake Oroville.

In general, residents enjoy seasonal temperatures around 51 degrees in January, and averaging 93.6 in July. On occasion, there can be some snowfall, but on average, 257 days a year are sunny.

Feather River Hospital has an active medical staff of 60 physicians and 47 courtesy and consulting physicians.

Besides having a twelve-grade Adventist Academy, there are three Adventist Churches in the area with the largest having 1,150 members.
