Butte County's First Baby Born at the Birth Day Place
Feather River Hospital welcomed Butte County’s first baby of 2004 Thursday morning.
Scott and Susan Sorenson of Yuba City gave birth to Dallas Jordan at 2:13 a.m. Though it is Susan’s first delivery at the Birth Day Place she said she has a lot of history here.
“I was born in Paradise along with the rest of my family. I wanted our baby to be born at Feather River Hospital as well,” said Susan.
The baby weighs seven pounds, thirteen ounces and is 19 inches long.
