Hospice House Opens
November 12, 2003 � Feather River Hospital�s Paradise Hospice has opened its new inpatient facility, Paradise Hospice House, at 1289 Bille Road. Paradise Hospice provides support and care for terminally ill persons and their families.
The new Paradise Hospice House is the first in-patient hospice facility in Butte County providing 24-hour nursing care in a home-like environment.
The 7,200 square-foot building includes six private rooms and other common areas typical of a home setting, with adjoining administrative offices.
'Paradise Hospice House was designed to improve the quality of life by providing support and care for persons in the final stage of life," said Deanna Craig, Hospice Director. "Our goal is to help the terminally ill patient live as fully and comfortably as possible.'
