Feather River Hospital�s transitional care unit is a licensed 21-bed Medicare certified facility. The SNF specializes in providing skilled nursing and rehabilitation services to residents requiring special care. The purpose of the unit is to provide care to residents who no longer require acute hospital care but are not able to return.
SNF provides activities for residents in groups as well as on an individual basis to promote physical, emotional, social well-being. Activities include arts and crafts, music, games, reading, movies, and customized exercise routines.
