24-hour basic Emergency Department
The Emergency Department is a specialized unit of Feather River Hospital that is staffed and equipped to care for patients suffering from acute medical problems. Our team staffs the department 24 hours a day and is qualified to meet the needs of the emergency patient.
Fast Trac Emergency Room Services
From 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. emergency patients with minor clinic issues will be seen under the process of Fast Trac. The Fast Trac system allows all qualified Feather River Hospital health professionals (e.g. physician assistants, registered nurses, etc.) to evaluate and treat patients with non-life threatening issues without having to wait to see a traditional physician who may be unavailable tending to more life-threatening issues.
