Lifestyle Medicine

The Lifestyle Medicine Department at Feather River Hospital promotes the use of lifestyle interventions in the treatment and management of disease. Such interventions include diet, exercise, stress management, smoking cessation, and a variety of other non-drug modalities.

It is common knowledge that prevention is better than a cure, and it becomes increasingly evident that the best solution to our health care needs is people taking ownership for their own health. Our focus is to help them make wise choices in lifestyle practices to prevent or reverse existing degenerative diseases.
