Cancer Center Physicians

Feather River Hospital’s Cancer Center physicians are highly trained, offering the most current treatments available. All three of these physicians are Board Certified.

Sam Mazj, MDSam Mazj, M.D., F.A.C.P.

Dr Mazj trained at New York Hospital-Weill Cornell Medical College, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, North Shore University Hospital, NYU School of Medicine and Stanford University Medical Center. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology, Medical Oncology, and Bone Marrow Transplantation. Dr Mazj serves as the Medical Director of Medical Oncology at Feather River Cancer Center.

 

Lee Schwartz, MDEdna K. Salinas, M.D., Ph.D.

Dr. Salinas attended the Medical School and Medical College of Pennsylvania and Hahnemann University where she obtained her Ph.D. in Molecular Pathobiology. She completed her Hematology and Medical Oncology Fellowship at Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute at the University of South Florida, Tampa, Florida. She is board certified in Medical Oncology, Hematology, and Internal Medicine.

 

Ronilee Scofield-Moore

Ronilee Scofield-Moore, Physician Assistant (PA-C)

Ronilee graduated in 2004 from the Stanford/Foothill Physician Assistant program. Prior to joining the Feather River Hospital Cancer Center, “Roni” worked in a busy family practice/primary care setting in Chico and has an extensive emergency care background.

 

Steven A. Wahlen, MDSteven A. Wahlen, M.D.

Dr. Wahlen received his medical school and residency training at Loma Linda University. He is board certified in Radiation Oncology. Dr. Wahlen is past president of North Valley Radiation Oncology and serves as the Medical Director of Radiation Oncology at the Feather River Cancer Center.
