Construction News
January 19, 2007 John Wulff, Project Superintendent of the new Rural Health Center on Skyway, reports all is going well with the constructionespecially because of the dry weather. In December crews completed the concrete wall and basement floor formations. The walls now are being waterproofed and the huge pile of dirt is being pushed around the basement for backfill support.
In January, cranes are being used to erect the structural steel for the floors above the basement. Also, anyone driving down Skyway may have noticed one lane barrier in from the construction site. This is due to the installation of the storm and drain and water line system. In the coming weeks, crews will complete the majority of the structural steal erection and remove a majority of the backfill.
